Kill Team Cassius Part 1

Here it is everyone, the culmination of  132 hours, a couple cuts, and a weird callous on my index finger. The entirety of Kill Team Cassius. This was a great opportunity to practice grey lining black, due to all the black armour, try our Agrellan Earth and Mordheim (man I miss that game) Turf. I'm sorry about the darkness of some of the pictures, they did not turn out as well as I'd hoped. This was a ton of fun to paint and I'm exceptionally happy with how they all turned out, and without further ado, here's Kill Team Cassius!

Heres' the team in all their glory

Ortan Cassius
Garren Branatar

Edryc Setorax

Antor Delassio

Jensus Natorian

This Cassius model is excellent, everything from his mk 4 power armour to his Crozius, to the pose itself is well designed and sculpted. I had great fun painting this model

I especially love the recessed name on that pauldron

Branatar is he only model I don't really care for in the kill team, simply because hes not a legal addition to an actual terminator squad in 40k due to his additional meltagun. At least that's why we have the formation rules

Hazard stripes on the fuel tube. Caution: burnination

Setorax is exactly what I'd expect form a Raven Guard character, basically mini Shrike. I do love the pose of this model however and the rubble built right into the base. It sure beats using flying stands to make airborne Assault Marines

At least his name wasn't Alenpo, yes theres actually a Raven Guard Captain called Alenpo

Delassio having just a chainsword is fine in Deathwatch:overkill, but it somewhat pants in 40k and a hand flamers just not beefy enough. Beautiful model though.

Blood drops on all the things!

Oh boy, space magpie! Honestly I though with THQ folding I figured we had seen the last of the Blood Ravens, but here's an actual cannon model. I'm not a huge fan of the Blood Ravens, their "are we loyalist thousand sons?" bit never sat well with me, but this is a perfectly good model and fun to paint.

Not pictured: Custodes Halberd, Abbadons Arms or any other stolen wargear

I'll be posting the rest either tonight so stay tuned for more Deathwatch!
